Thirty one years on the island as a wife and mother have
given her an invaluable perspective on island life. Diana is a graduate of the UW
(sociology)
and a Pacific Northwest native. Her hobbies include textiles (spinning,
dying, and knitting island wool and alpaca) and travelling
(Mexico, Belize, Panama, Turkey). She and her husband
Joel, a former teacher, also enjoy the Chilcotin
wilderness in British Columbia.
