Diana Clark
Diana
Clark sells real estate on San Juan Island. Thirty four years on the island as a wife and mother have
given her an invaluable perspective on island life. Diana is a graduate of the UW
(sociology)
and a Pacific Northwest native. Her hobbies include textiles (spinning,
dying, and knitting island wool and alpaca and creating rag braided rugs) and traveling
(Mex
ico, Belize, Panama, Turkey). She and her husband
Joel, a former teacher, also enjoy the Chilcotin wilderness in British
Columbia. She taught English, was a full-time mother, and had a popular book, Horse Trivia
published before getting her Managing Broker License. Also an amateur
genealogist, she enjoys research. Her proven skills in persistence and
paying attention to details are important qualities for a Realtor. She has
been selling property for eighteen years and is a former "Realtor of the
Year" for the San Juan Association of Realtors. Diana was also a former
President and Secretary of the local association. She strongly believes in
preserving the character of the islands. Recent further education has led
Diana to a decision to represent either the Buyer or the Seller in any one
transaction (but never both of them at the same time.)
Diana believes looking for property should be fun. You will find her enthusiasm
for the island is contagious!
Here are 5 Things you won't get from Diana:
1. The Song and Dance. Diana represents Buyers or Sellers, never both in the same transaction.
2. The Run-Around: Diana has no assistants, she hold herself accountable.
3. The Busy signal: Diana never takes over 10 listings.
4. The Brush-Off: Diana works in a small, friendly office.
5. The Sales Pitch. Diana doesn't believe in pressuring people to make decisions.
What you will get from Diana: Serious real estate with a smile.
Island Group Sotheby's International Realty
Friday
Harbor Realty has been located on the sunny side of Spring Street since 1967.
In 2008, Friday Harbor Realty combined with Re/Max Realty and joined with the
prestigious Sotheby's International Realty.
The local knowledge, island philosophy and committment
to service that enabled Friday Harbor Realty to survive as one of the oldest offices on the island is still alive and well at Island Group Sotheby's International Realty. We value our Realtor associates
in large and small offices on this island and on other islands. We believe
working cooperatively with these Realtors is a formula for success. Every office on
our island is a member of the MLS, an online source of information which many
buyers utilize before buying their ferry tickets. There is no substitute for the
additional knowledge one gets from learning about the island from an experienced Realtor.
Friday Harbor is a unique place; there is only one Friday Harbor and there
is only one Island Group Sotheby's International Realty. People who come to this island are also
unique, and they can seek out at our office the individuality that attracts
them to the island itself. We are located at #1 Spring Street, at the very
first corner you turn as you come off of the Friday Harbor ferry. We
welcome your inquiries.
